Port Ellen - I think - I am sure I will be corrected if I am wrong...
This is so frustrating, I know it is Islay, butI don’t recognise the place, or where it (that is the series of photos that went to make it up) was taken from.

Yes, Port Ellen. Standing on the road down to the ferry terminal. The larger building on the left (i.e. the second one) is the police station where George Robertson (former NATO General Secretary) was born. On the right is Port Ellen Marina and the war memorial.
Thanks Armin, we were both convinced that it was Port Ellen, but it just looked so unfamiliar as a panorama…
George Robertson born in a Police Station??? That explains a few things
